WHEN WE COLLECT YOUR INFORMATION

We collect your information when you interact with us. This could be when you sign up to receive updates from us by email and other digital channels, register for a course, attend an event, or make a purchase.

-join our mailing list or opt in to our mailing list on the client intake questionnaire

-when you register for a retreat, workshop or online course, free or paid

-when you attend an event or individual counseling session in person or distance

We only collect the information we need to carry on our business, provide the particular product or service you’ve requested, and to keep you informed on what’s new with us. There are occasions when you can choose not to give us certain information, but this may mean that we cannot provide you with certain products or services and that our communications are less relevant. For example, you may not hear about an event in your area if you opt not to provide your city or state.

WHERE WE STORE YOUR INFORMATION

We store your data in Mailchimp, which is the service we use to email you. If you’ve used our counseling services, your information is stored in a HIPAA compliant practice management software called SimplePractice, which is not linked to this website.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

Before or at the time of collecting personal information, we will let you know why we’re collecting it. This includes:

-keeping you up to date on our events and offerings

-sending communications relevant to a course you’re enrolled in

-monthly newsletter offering tips, tools, and other helpful information

We will collect and use personal information solely with the objective of fulfilling those purposes specified by us and for other compatible purposes, unless we obtain the consent of the individual concerned or as required by law.

We will only retain personal information as long as necessary for the fulfillment of those purposes.

We will make readily available to customers information about our policies and practices relating to the management of personal information.
